How do I obtain a library card?
Anyone living within the State of Texas may qualify for a library card upon completing the required application form. Proof of residency is required. Children should be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. For more information and application cards, contact the Check Out Desk at (817)616-3760.

How do I know when my items are due?
Check Out Policies
These items have a 3 week (21 days) circulation period with (3) automatic renewals. No renewals will be allowed if the items is on hold for someone else.
- Books (no renewals if book is reserved)
- Books-CD, Music CD’s
- CD Players
- Learning Kits
- Memory Care Kits
These items have 1 week check out and no automatic renewal
- WiFi Hotspots
- Baking kits
There are NO LATE FEES on Richland Hills items after materials have been returned. Items overdue passed the 3 automatic renewals will be considered LOST and you will be charged the full replacement amount unless they are returned.
Items on hold may be picked up at the library Tuesday - Friday, 9am to 8pm. and at the Link on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Please check with The Link for times.
And you can always check your account Online at "My Account". To login to "My Account" you will need your library card number and pin (your pin number is the last four digits of your card number re-enter).
