Protect People, Pets, Pipes & Plants from Freezing Weather

With below-freezing temperatures expected beginning Thursday, December 22, remember to protect people, pets, pipes and plants:

  • People: Check on loved ones and make sure they have heat and warm clothing.
  • Pets: Bring pets inside. If it’s too cold for you, it’s too cold for your pets.
  • Pipes: Insulate outside and exposed pipes. Drip indoor faucets. Learn more about how to protect your pipes.
  • Plants: Cover or bring inside any plants that cannot tolerate cold weather.
