The 75th Anniversary Committee is an ad hoc volunteer committee appointed to work with City staff in planning and implementing programs and events that showcase Richland Hills’ 75th Anniversary.
The committee will aim to engage the entire Richland Hills community, including residents, businesses, community groups and organizations, in the year-long celebration. The committee will help identify individuals and organizations that would be willing to organize, lead and champion anniversary programs and events.
The Committee consists 12 members appointed by City Council that are either Richland Hills residents or business owners. They are individuals that have a particular interest in research, history, marketing, fundraising, event planning and volunteer coordination.
The appointee commitment is two years beginning September 2023 and concluding in September 2025 with the 75th Anniversary Celebration. The committee will meet once a month during the two-year period, with more frequent meetings as needed.
