Mission

The mission of the Richland Hills Police Department's Crime Prevention Unit is to strengthen the partnership between the police and community and together seek a proactive approach towards anticipating, reducing, and eliminating crime in the City of Richland Hills.

This mission is achieved through citizen and business involvement and public educational programs and services such as:

• CAPTURE
• Citizen Police Academy
• Crisis Support Unit
• Neighborhood Crime Watch
• Single Use Disposal System (SUDS)
• Texas Night Out
