All payment plans granted by the Judge for a period of more than 30 days require a monthly payment. Please refer to your paperwork for the due dates. If you are unable to pay your monthly payment by the due date, you must appear at the court office prior to the due date to request an extension.
If you are unable to pay the amount owed, without undue hardship to yourself or your dependent(s), you may request a hearing before the Judge to consider your ability to pay and discuss any non-monetary compliance options available to you. Please contact the court for more information.
PAYMENTS MAY NOT BE MADE OVER THE TELEPHONE. YOU CAN PAY ONLINE, BY MAIL OR IN PERSON AT THE COURT OFFICE DURING REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS.
IF A 30 DAY PAYMENT PLAN IS GRANTED AND NOT PAID WITHIN THE 30 DAYS, A $25.00 PAYMENT PLAN FEE PER VIOLATION IS REQUIRED BY THE STATE TO BE ADDED ON THE 31ST DAY. THE $25.00 PAYMENT PLAN FEES ARE REQUIRED TO BE PAID BEFORE ANY FURTHER EXTENSIONS WILL BE GRANTED. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO MAKE YOUR PAYMENT, PLEASE CONTACT THE COURT PRIOR TO THE DUE DATE.
The Richland Hills Municipal Court accepts the following form of payments: Cash, Money Order, Cashier's Check, MasterCard, Visa and Discover. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
You may pay warrants online. However, each violation must be paid in full to clear the warrant. If you have more than one warrant and only pay one, the others will remain in active warrant status until paid in full. Warrants will not be cleared until the next business. Keep a copy of your payment confirmation for your records.
Payments made online, without prior approval from the court for deferred disposition or driver safety, will be reported as a conviction.
