The following individuals MUST APPEAR IN COURT:

  • Individuals charged with Speeding; 25 MPH over the posted speed or 15 MPH over the posted speed in a school zone
  • Defendants under age of 17
  • Individuals charged with any moving violation in a construction zone with workers present
  • Leaving the scene of an accident
  • Fleeing from police (evading arrest)
  • Failure to stop for school bus
  • Improper registration or dealer tag violations
  • Defendants receiving two or more MOVING violations at one time who want to request Deferred.
  • Defendants requesting extension of an existing payment plan
  • Defendants who claim indigence
  • Juvenile Defendants (16 or under) MUST appear with parent or guardian Minors with Alcohol (18 or under MUST appear with parent or guardian) Minors with tobacco (17 or under MUST appear with parent or guardian)
  • Teen Court Requests
  • Individuals Charged with Education Code
  • Second requests for a reset
  • Requests for jail time credit

You must appear within 14 days of your citation date to set a court date.

Courtroom Dress Code

  • No short shorts or short skirts
  • No tube Tops
  • No tank tops or muscle shirts
  • No strapless shirt/dress
  • No spaghetti straps
  • No halter tops
  • No midriff baring tops
  • No low cut tops
  • No hats, caps or bandanas
  • No sunglasses
  • No obscene or profane language or illustrations on clothing
