Richland Hills Transit Oriented Development

The Richland Hills Transit Oriented Development Site is a 100+ acre, 60's era industrial park ready for redevelopment as a multi-use transit oriented development around an established Trinity Railway Express (TRE) station. The Richland Hills TOD station is the first stop outside of downtown Ft. Worth on the commuter line that connects with downtown Dallas. Located at the intersection of loop 820 and TX-121. The City of Richland Hills has partnered with the URS Corporation to develop a TOD plan for the area (2009).

Boulevard 26

The Cities of Richland Hills and North Richland Hills have partnered together to create a joint redevelopment plan for Boulevard 26 (TX State Highway 26). Both cities have signed an inter-local agreement supporting a corridor strategy to revitalize the area. The next step in the redevelopment process includes intersection improvements along Boulevard 26 at the intersections of Loop 820, Glenview, and Rufe Snow.
