Most materials may be checked out for three weeks and returned inside the library or the book drop located on the north side of the library. Videocassettes may be borrowed for one week. Can I get a loan from another Library?

Yes. Materials from the collections of other public, academic, and special libraries throughout the state and nation may be borrowed through Interlibrary Loan. Requests for materials may be made to any staff member or email to the library. Be sure to include your name, Richland Hills library bar code number, title, author, date and place of publication, and ISBN if available. The ISBN is the international standard book number assigned by the publisher. This is a service we provide so that if we don’t have a book in our collection or the current online catalog, we can put a request on the ILL network and borrow the book for you.
