Subject: Baker Blvd. LPAFA TxDOT
Attached, is the Local Project Advance Funding Agreement (LPAFA) proposed by the city in cooperation with the NCTCOG and TxDOT. This is an 80/20 grant through NCTCOG and TxDOT and will include the reconstruction of three intersections on Baker Blvd at Rufe Snow, Handley Ederville, and Booth Calloway. The project will include right turn lanes at the three intersection on Baker Blvd., roadway will be reconstructed 600’ in each direction the full width of the intersection and include sidewalks, utility relocation if required, drainage facilities if required, sidewalks, and new traffic signals if required. The total cost of the project is $3,534,428.88. Participation costs are Federal $2,671,385.94; TxDOT $195,196.46; and Local/City $667,846.48 as per the LPAFA, Attachment “C”.
Included in the attachment, is a cover letter from TxDOT, Escrow Recapitulation, Resolution, and LPAFA with exhibits. Please place on the council’s November 8, 2011 agenda to consider the approval of the LPAFA for the reconstruction of three intersections on Baker Blvd. Please contact me if you have any questions.
