As per the councils instructions, the attached bid proposal was given to 6 contractors for the removal and disposal of all trees, shrubs, bushes, concrete, trash, etc. at 7064 Dover Ln. The attached bids was the only bid received on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at the public works office. The low bid was Garrett Demolition with a bid of $6,000.00 with a $250.00 deduct amount “if awarded and can be completed while on site doing demolition for 7064 Dover Ln., we can deduct $250.00 mobilization fee”. Garrett’s original bid under the previous Bid Proposal was $5,800. If the attached bid is approved under the contractor’s stipulations then the final cost would be $5,750.00.
Please on the council’s agenda for September 13, 2011 agenda to consider awarding the low bid to Garrett Demolition. Please contact me if you have any questions.
