Subject: Landscape Maintance Agreement
In 2007 Keep Richland Hills Beautiful Board was awarded a $75,000.00 beautification grant. The one requirement for the award was that the City of Richland Hills would have to maintain the improvements after they were installed. The maintenance cost for the improvement would be included in the city’s annual Landscape Maintenance Contract. The estimated additional maintenance cost for this project, based on the existing landscape maintenance contract, would be approx. $500.00/year.
This project was designed by TxDOT and will be awarded and inspected by TxDOT. Attached, is the Landscape Maintenance Agreement that needs to be approved in order to move forward with this project. Also, attached is the Landscape Plan that details the type of trees, shrubs, and flowers that will be planted and a layout of the irrigation plan. If approved, this project is anticipated to be bid in October 2011.
