Subject: Water Conservation and Emergency Management Plan
As part of the information for the Dfund Application, the TWDB has requested the City of Richland Hills to update the city’s existing Water Conservation and Emergency Management Plan. The changes to the existing plan consist of the following: 1) specific wording for obtaining gpcd, water loss, and the peaking factor percentages for the 5 year and 10 year time periods, 2) updating the Utility Profile Information, Appendix A, and 3) updating current water and sewer rates, Appendix B. Appendix C thru F have not changed. Attached, is the updated plan which the TWDB has given their preliminary approval.
Therefore, please place on the councils May 10, 2011 to approve the updated Water Conservation and Emergency Management Plan Ordinance. Please contact me if you have any questions.
